Planq started their journey, when the twin brothers Anton and Dennis researched the clothing and textile industry.
They found that in the world 150 million tons of fashion was sold yearly. A very large part of this ends up as landfill or gets burned. As designers they believed it was their duty to make an impact on the fashion industry and the furniture industry, to consider the Circular Economy and reduce waste. That is why Planq started to bridge the gaps between furniture design and environmentally friendly solutions, to show and let our customers experience how design can make an impact.
After long research, Planq found a method to up-cycle clothing into high-quality new applications to create Sustainable Furniture,
saving a large amount of CO2, water and energy.
“ We believe to inspire the world by making beautiful stuff from waste-materials. “
The result is a circular composite made from recycled clothing and 100% organic plastic fibers (from corn and potato starch), making our furniture completely sustainable and reusable. This composition has a high positive environmental impact and gives a high aesthetic value to waste without the addition of new chemical raw materials.
This material is the basis for our high-quality and sustainable furniture and interior solutions.
